Bloomington, MN, Sep. 14 2017 – Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based testing (CBT), has entered into an agreement with the Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) to deliver their Container Inspector and Chassis Inspector Certification Examinations globally.
Previously, the IICL’s certification examinations had been delivered by the traditional pen-and-paper method but now candidates will be assessed using CBT via Pearson VUE’s network of more than 5,000 convenient and highly secure test centres in 180 countries.
Candidates can now schedule and if necessary re-schedule their tests online instead of travelling to a distant city-centre exam hall on one particular day.
“Converting our exams to a computer-based testing format is a big and important step for us,” said Steven R. Blust, president of the IICL. “This will be of great benefit to our candidates around the world, and offers real convenience when it comes to booking their exam at a date, time and place of their choosing.”
