Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS)
Coordinated through Strasz Assessment Systems
The Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists offers an examination that addresses knowledge and skills common to all sanctions professionals in varied employment settings, including financial institutions, international corporations, law firms, consulting companies, government, and other trades and businesses. The objective of the certification program is to set the standard for the sanctions profession, and to make Certified Sanctions Specialists (CSS) widely recognized as trained and credentialed specialists in the sanctions field. It is a multiple-choice, proctored exam that can be taken in testing centers across the globe.
You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the ACSS Non-Disclosure Agreement onscreen prior before beginning your exam. The agreement reads: “I will not disclose or provide to anyone orally, electronically, or in any other format, information about the content of this examination. I understand that all documents and examination questions are, and shall remain, the exclusive property of ACSS.” If you do not accept these terms, then you will not be allowed to take the exam.
